The Irish Ingredients Behind Every All Real Bar
The Irish Ingredients Behind Every All Real Bar
If you’ve ever looked at the back of an All Real wrapper, you’ll notice something different. No long lists, no chemical fillers, no words you can’t pronounce. Just real ingredients sourced close to home wherever possible and made right here in Ireland.
For us, that’s not a marketing line. It’s who we are. Every bar is built from ingredients that reflect where we’re from: local, honest, and rooted in quality. From the protein that fuels it to the natural flavours that make it taste good, every element has a story.
This is how an All Real bar really comes together, from Irish farms to your pocket.
It Starts With Irish Grass-Fed Protein
Every All Real bar begins with one of Ireland’s most abundant and sustainable natural resources: grass.
Ireland’s cool climate and long growing season make it one of the best places in the world for pasture-based dairy. Cows here graze outdoors for most of the year, feeding on lush grass rather than grain. That grass diet is what gives Irish milk, and the milk protein that comes from it, its clean, natural nutritional profile.
Our protein is 100% Irish grass-fed dairy protein. It’s rich in essential amino acids and high in leucine, which plays a key role in recovery and sustained energy. But more than that, it’s traceable. We know exactly where it comes from and how it’s made.
Using Irish protein means we’re not just making a bar that performs; we’re supporting Irish farmers and keeping value in the local food system.

The Real Food Foundation
An All Real bar isn’t built on lab ingredients or shortcuts. It’s built on real food.
Nuts provide the texture and the natural fats that help balance energy. Dates and natural sweeteners round out the flavour without spiking blood sugar. We also use cocoa from Belgium, chosen for its rich flavour and quality, because sometimes sourcing the best ingredient means going beyond our borders.
We could have made our bars cheaper with syrups, gums, and artificial binders. But that’s not the kind of food we’d eat ourselves. Real food behaves differently; it feels better, digests better, and keeps you going for longer.
That’s what we want people to taste. Not additives or formulations. Just food.

Irish-Made, Start to Finish
A lot of products that claim “Irish made” are only packaged here. We wanted to go further.
Every All Real bar is made and packed in Kerry, in the southwest of Ireland. It’s where the company was born, and it’s where we’ve chosen to keep production. From our small team to the local suppliers who deliver ingredients, it’s all done under one roof, the kind of traceability that’s rare in modern food manufacturing.
That local control lets us protect the quality of every batch. When something carries our name, we know exactly how it was made, because we were there.
Being based in Kerry isn’t just about logistics. It’s about community, working with people who care as much as we do about doing things right.
Sustainability That’s More Than a Label
We’ve always believed sustainability is about choices, not slogans.
Irish grass-fed dairy already has one of the lowest carbon footprints per litre of milk in Europe. By sourcing protein locally, we cut down transport emissions and support a more circular Irish food economy.
Our packaging is plastic-free and home compostable, so it breaks down naturally after use. And because everything’s made locally, we can manage waste responsibly and partner with small Irish businesses that share the same approach.
It’s not about chasing perfection. It’s about improving the small things that add up, every batch, every wrapper, every decision.
From Real People, For Real People
All Real started at a kitchen table, not in a lab. We weren’t looking to invent the next functional food. We were trying to make something we’d actually eat, something we could stand over and feel proud sharing.
That mindset hasn’t changed. We still test new flavours by hand. We still listen to our community and tweak recipes until they feel right. And we still believe that if you can’t trace or trust what’s in your food, it’s not worth eating.
Behind every bar is a small team of people in Kerry, makers, tasters, and packers who know that their work ends up in someone’s bag, gym locker, or lunch box. That personal connection is what keeps us grounded.
Because All Real isn’t a factory brand. It’s a local food company trying to do things the right way, slowly, honestly, and with a bit of pride.
Why Irish Ingredients Matter
There’s something special about Irish food, not because it’s trendy but because it’s real. Our climate, our land, and our food traditions give us access to raw ingredients that many countries can’t replicate.
Irish grass-fed dairy is now recognised worldwide for its quality, but here it’s still part of everyday life. The same goes for locally roasted nuts, natural sea salt, and the clean dairy flavours that give our bars their character.
Using Irish ingredients isn’t about waving a flag; it’s about taste, trust, and integrity. When the food you make reflects where you come from, people can feel it.

Real Food, Irish Roots
We’ve learned that good food doesn’t need to travel halfway around the world to make an impact. It just needs to be made with care, from people who believe in it.
Every All Real bar is a small reflection of that belief: Irish ingredients where possible, made by Irish hands, for anyone who values real food.
So the next time you unwrap one, you’re not just getting protein. You’re getting a little piece of what makes Ireland, and Irish food, special.
